ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1930s wooden box (5 lb.) for Swift's Brookfield yellow American cheese. Founded in Chicago in 1855, Swift & Company was a food processing company that is still in business today.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 12-1/4" in length and 3-3/4" in height and 3-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wood.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled.

MARKINGS: Swift & Company U.S.A. General Offices Chicago.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The box has an area of wear inside and some minor gapping at the corners.
