Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1930s leather wallet from the New York City Police Benevolent Association. It shows the seal of the City of New York on its front, and has a billfold and celluloid sleeves for photos.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 4-11/16" in length and 3-7/16" in width and ¾" in thickness.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Leather, clear celluloid, paper insert, painted metal snap.

ATTACHMENT:

Snap closure (half missing).

MARKINGS:

CARDS STAMPS TOP GRAIN STEERHIDE.

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The wallet has an area of slight discoloration on its reverse; snap is broken.
