1930's Italian Fascist OND Opera Nazionale Dopolavoro Enameled Lapel Pin

1930's Italian Fascist OND (Opera Nazionale Dopolavoro) enameled lapel pin. The OND was the Fascist Italian adult organization for leisure and recreational activities. The OND had the largest membership of any of the mass Fascist organizations in Italy. The pin is enameled, silver plated brass and features fascia and the letters: "OND" in black enamel detail. The reverse shows a nice maker's mark that reads: "S.A. PICCHIAN E. BARLACCA FIRENZE"

Approximately 5/8" in height x 5/8" in width.

Enameled, silver plated brass.

Vertical safety style pin.

6 (Fine+): The pin shows moderate to heavy surface wear, a small area of silver plating missing from bottom corner, much of the enamel detail remains intact, overall fine condition.
