This is a 1930's - Early WWII US Navy CPO Chief Petty Officer Hat Badge by AMCRAFT in Gilt & Silvered Brass. Snowflake Pattern &  Acid Test Markings.

1930s - Early World War II.

Approximately 1-3/4" in height x 1-1/8" in width.
