ARTIFACT:
This is a New England Telephone & Telegraph Company "Bell System" operator's service brooch. The brooch is by Balfour, and is gold-filled with a green stone at center beneath a bell in relief.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1930's - 1940's.
SIZE:
About 1-1/2" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:
Gold-filled.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with a drop-in locking catch.
MARKINGS:
1/10 10KGF LGB (Balfour mark).
