Description
This is a circa 1930s or 1940s State of California Department of Natural Resources Division of Fish & Game badge. The badge is a six-pointed star with an engraved leaf design and an enameled ring encircling the center Seal of the State of California. It is numbered 508 and is by Irvine & Jachens of San Francisco.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/16" in height and 2-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass, enamel, brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:508 on front; Irvine & Jachens S.F. maker mark.
