ARTIFACT: This is a hardcover copy of "List of Mothers and Widows of American Soldiers, Sailors and Marines Entitled to Make a Pilgrimage to the War Cemeteries in Europe". The state-by-state list was published a year after a March 1929 Act of Congress figured out the cost to send all eligible surviving women to Europe.

VINTAGE: Published circa 1930.

SIZE: 339 pages; approximately 11-3/4" in height and 9-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embossed cloth-bound cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: 71st Congress, 2d Session House Document No. 140 United States Government Printing Office 1930.

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): The first few pages of the book have become unbound but are present; separation of pages from spine but they are still staying in; areas of moderate wear to cover.
