ARTIFACT: This is a an old celluloid pin for a steamship line the name of which I do not know. It is for a ship of that line called the "POLONIA". It is of a size common to celluloid pins, but has an attachment similar to a stickpin. This item came with a similar pin showing the steamship lines logo at center, but the lettering was in Russian.

VINTAGE: Circa 1928.

SIZE: About 1-3/16 in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Printed celluloid with a tin backing.

ATTACHMENT: Straight steel stickpin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.

CONDITION: 7 (Very fine): Shows signs of age, but no foxing.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
