ARTIFACT:

This is a 1924 Turnerbund Turnfest tinnie for a women's gymnastics event held at Haag N.O (Hague Northeast). The tinnie is octagonal, and shows a woman balancing on a beam in relief with a curved swastika hovering nearby. The pin reads DONAU-GAU 2 FRAUEN-GAU TURNEN IN HAAG N.O. 14/15 6 (JUNE) 1924.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1924.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Stamped copper.

Original straight pin.

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The tinnie shows some light wear and has a handsome overall tarnish with a few tiny spots of oxidation.
