ARTIFACT: This is a 1930 tinnie for the Turnerbund Turnfest, or gymnastics festival, held that year at Brachet. The tinnie reads Turnverein Hall 1862 Schauturnen Brachet 30 Deutshcer Turnerbund. The coppery tinnie has an example of the rounded swastika at its center. It has a maker's mark on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 1-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Copper-plated brass, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: J. Schwertner Graz Eggenberg.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Nazi Germany collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAGX12 LHEX10/12 SHEX11/26/24

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The tinnie shows small areas of light wear and tarnish.
