This is a 1920s Egyptian Order of the Nile badge. The badge is in a beautiful starburst design and hangs from a crown icon, with a white five-pointed star and some Egyptian writing at center. The badge was established in 1915 as a prestigious award for those who had done service for the state.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s.
SIZE:3-3/16" height and 2-1/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver with blue and enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Brass loop attachment.
