1920's - 30's US Post Office Letter Carrier Hat Badge from Auburn, NY by Walter & Sons

Nice 1920's – 30's US Postal Office Letter Carrier hat badge. The stamped oval badge features an eagle with spread wings facing the viewer's left at the top and below reads: "U.S. POST OFFICE AUBURN, N. Y." and the center is numbered: "19". The reverse shows a nice maker's mark that reads: "N.C. WALTER & SONS, NEW YORK" the original retaining pin is missing.
