This is a shoulder patch for the United States Army 1st Cavalry Division. The patch is a gold shield and bears a black diagonal stripe and horse's head.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s-1930s.
SIZE:4-1/2" height and 3-3/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Felt on felt patch embroidered in silk/cotton threads.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Patch shows light wear mostly around edge.
