1920's -30's General Electric (GE) River Works photo ID badge. River Works is located along the Saugus River in Lynn, Massachusetts and was formerly known as Airport Plant 2Built in 1943, the factory worked on the first jet engine during WWII, the plant also tested, reassembled, assembled, and general aircraft maintenance. The celluloid employee badge depicts a male worker in the center, along the top it reads: "GENERAL ELECTRIC CO." and along the bottom: "RIVER WORKS"; the badge is made by Whitehead & Hoag.

SIZE:Approximately 1 ¼" in diameter

ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Badge shows minor wear, a tiny indent on the steel edge and celluloid along the top half of the badge, does not detract from overall piece.
