Description
This is a circa 1920s or 1930s room key fob or tag for the Alexander Young Hotel in Honolulu, Territory of Hawaii (T.H.). The Young Hotel was a grand affair, built in 1902 by a Scotsman of the same name. The hotel was used by the military during World Wars I and II. The building was placed upon the National Register of historic places in 1980 after its conversion to offices, but unfortunately was demolished nonetheless (photo credit: postcardparadise,blogspot.com).
