Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a framed circa 1910s photograph of the Waynesboro, Pennsylvania Fire Truck No. 1 and its crew. They are posing in front of the town's Fire Hall, which was built in 1899.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1910s.

SIZE:

Approximately 11-3/8" in height by 13-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wood, glass, photograph paper matting.

ATTACHMENT:

Hanging wire, nails in frame.

MARKINGS:

#24 written on back of frame.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

7- (Very Fine-): The photograph has some water damage to the matting, mostly on the left border, and some spots of light wear to the frame.
