ARTIFACT: This is a wooden souvenir donkey figurine from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. One side of the donkey reads PORTSMOUTH N.H. and the other reads THE OLD ARMY MULE. The donkey has a shy look painted on, along with leather ears and a braided yarn tail.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910s-1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/4" height and 4-3/8" length and 13/16" thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted wood with yarn and leather details.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent-): The donkey shows some small spots of light to medium wear and one ear is slightly bent, which actually adds to its forlorn look.
