ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1910s - 1920s cap badge from Seattle's Inland Navigation Co., an early Puget Sound area transporter. The badge is a full band and its insignia is a gold bullion wreath that sets off an enameled star insignia flanked by two crossed anchors.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910s - 1920s.

SIZE: Full band; insignia roughly 2-3/8" by 3-1/4".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass insignia with red, white and blue enamel details on wool with elastic band.

ATTACHMENT: Elastic band (no longer sewn together).

MARKINGS: N/A.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Badge is in wonderful shape with only slight tarnish on the bullion.
