This is a great postal cover dated March 2, 1898 from Sunset, Colorado, a ghost town in Four Mile Canyon near Boulder. The letter that was once inside the cover was addressed to Miss Lucy Sherwin of Denver and shows four inked date and place stamps and a period two cent stamp.
VINTAGE:Circa March 2, 1898.
SIZE:Approximately 3-9/16" in height and 6-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Paper envelope, stamp.
MARKINGS:SUNSET and 4 ink stamps.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The cover has been nicely preserved with minimal wear and minor yellowing, and was slit along its right side.
