ARTIFACT: This is an 1893 Home Insurance Co. of New York calendar given out by John Sise Insurance of Portsmouth, New Hampshire (his stamp can be seen beneath the calendar pages). The calendar is affixed to cardboard with a printed color scene and has a sheet music reproduction of "Home, Sweet Home" on the reverse. All pages have been torn off the calendar save for November and December 1893.

VINTAGE: Circa 1893.

SIZE: Approximately 9-1/2" height and 6-1/2" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Color-printed paperboard and newsprint, brass grommet, staples.

ATTACHMENT: Grommet.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The calendar has some light to medium wear and discoloration and has two of the original 12 month pages intact.
