This is an 1890s Tulare County, California deputy sheriff badge made by Fresno Rubber Stamp Company. The badge is a six-pointed star and reads DEPUTY TULARE COUNTY SHERIFF.

Circa 1890s.

2-1/2" height and 2-3/16" width.

Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

Vertical safety-style pin.
