This is a photograph of a policeman from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who served in the 1890s. It is a 3/4 view of him dressed in uniform, complete with nightstick.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s.
SIZE:6-3/8" height and 4-1/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Photograph mounted on paperboard.
MARKINGS:Obscured maker's stamp and 1705 SOUTH STREET, PHILADELPHIA.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): Photograph has been well-preserved but there is one large spot of wear near the bottom and what looks to be some unfortunate pencil scribblings bear the photo's bottom edge.
