This is a 1890’s – 1900’s Dallas County Texas Deputy Sheriff Badge & Pocket Knife of Precinct 5 Justice Edgar Poe Anderson.

Anderson was a Precinct 5 Justice in Dallas from 1880 until at least some time in the 1910’s.

VINTAGE:

1890s – 1900s.

SIZE:

Approximately: Badge: 2-1/8” in height x 1-13/16” in width. Pocket Knife: 1/2 x 2-13/16

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass with nickel findings.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical Kick pin with Tube type catch.

E. P. ANDERSON (on the knife)
