ARTIFACT:

This is an 1880's - 1890's vintage, Great, Large, Hand-Lettered, Deputy Sheriff Circle Star Badge. 

With as simple brass pin on back, and just the right wear and patina from having come in off the trail of an outlaw and thrown in a drawer and forgotten for 125 years or so. 

VINTAGE:

Circa 1880's - 1890's.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/8" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel plated nickel Badge with Brass pin.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety-style pin.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): The badge has some moderate wear and a great patina, and this one has "The Look".
