ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1870s Marvin Brothers & Bartlett glass apothecary jar from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Marvin Brothers was known for products such as fish oil and spermaceti. The jar is round with some frosted areas around the neck and a nice stopper-style removable lid.

VINTAGE: Circa 1870s.

SIZE: Approximately 4-3/4" in height and 2-3/8" in diameter (at base).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glass.

ATTACHMENT: Stopper-style lid.

MARKINGS: None.
