1870s -80s Old Western Style "Stock" Deputy Sheriff Badge

This is a circa 1870's - 1880's old Western-style "stock" deputy sheriff badge. The badge is shield-shaped and has a small engraved star at its center.

Circa 1870's - 1880's.

Approximately 2-1/16" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

Nickeled brass, painted details, brass pin.

Vertical kick pin with tongue-style C catch.
