1860s Hand-Engraved Silver Fireman's Lapel Badge

This is a great circa 1860s fireman badge in hand-engraved silver. The badge is a small six-pointed star with a finely engraved border and reads F.D. at its center.

Circa 1860s.

Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 7/8" in width.

Silver.
