This is a great Albany New York Fire Department badge from the 1860's made in pewter and numbered 583.
VINTAGE:Circa 1860s.
SIZE:About 2" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Pewter.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with a "C" catch.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:6 (Fine+): Moderately worn with lots of surface scratches and dings, at the edges especially.
