This is a 15th Air Force A-2 good luck chain from Capri, where some of the United States Army Air Forces took a rest and relaxation leave. The chain shows a winged star with 15 on front and a painted view of the island and CAPRI 1945 on the reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1945.
SIZE:Medallion is 3/4" in diameter; total measurement including pin 1-1/2" height and 1" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated hand-painted brass.
ATTACHMENT:Loop attachment, small chain and buttonhole retaining bar.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): Chain shows some wear.
