This is a 101st Overseas Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Forces cap badge for the Winnipeg Light Infantry. The badge is a detailed maple leaf with a crowned roaring lion at center. The badge reads WINNIPEG LIGHT INFANTRY OVERSEAS BATTALION 101 CANADA.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:1-11/16" height and 1-5/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Copper-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two bent-over loops for attachment.
MARKINGS:R. INGLIS LIMITED.
