Description
Wonderful WWII War Worker patch for Fisher Body, builders of tanks, aircraft parts, and all kinds of artillery. Fisher Body was a lesser known division of General Motors with a plant in Lansing, Michigan. During WWII, however, it was a massive producer and manufacturer in support of war time efforts. All of the fourteen Fisher Body plants were awarded a prestigious Army-Navy "E" for Excellence Award and some plants earned multiple, totaling twenty-seven in total for the entire plant was twenty-seven. Fisher Body also made a lot of the parts for passenger compartments of many GM & Oldsmobile models prior to 198The center of the embroidered, oval-shaped patch features the Fisher Body emblem, a horse carriage with the letter: "P" on its door, and the red outer edge reads: "ARMAMENT FISHER".

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The patch shows minor to moderate wear, light soiling, was removed from uniform clothing, overall very fine condition.
