ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces Air Service Command decal on leather flight jacket patch. The decal shows a propeller surrounded by stars over the spread wings of an eagle. "Johnny" is handwritten on the front.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 4-7/8" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Leather patch with decal.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a United States Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEL97

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): Patch has small spots of wear on front.
