This is a great example of a World War II US Army Air Force Crew Wing in Sterling in the "Juarez" Pattern by Walter Lampl.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:3-1/4" wide by 1" high.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with a "come-under" locking catch. (locking catch on this piece is broken.)
MARKINGS:Sterling.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a large collection of wings, which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VFEX08 LAGEX SAEJX3/11
CONDITION:7- (Very Fine -): Very minor wear and light tarnishing, truly a wonderful example of this wing.
