Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 8th Air Force patch "regular double loop" variant. The patch has been lightly used and shows a winged number 8 with a star inside its bottom loop.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/8" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto uniform.

None.
