This is a United States Army Air Forces 487th Bomb Squadron Grouping including: a squadron patch (knight chess piece on patch), sleeve rank, shoulder patch, 5 ribbons, individual and group photos, aerial photos, an anniversary program, orders and a B.B.C. "News of the Day" sheet.

Squadron patch is cotton thread on silk; sleeve shield and shoulder patch are cotton on cotton; photos are photo paper; other paper items are on printed paper.

Patches are to be sewn onto Flight Apparel.
