ARTIFACT: This is a great World War II US Army Air Forces jacket patch for the 472nd Bombardment Squadron, 334th Bombardment Group, 3rd Air Force. The patch shows "Bomby the Bear" playing billiards.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 4" in height x 5" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidery thread on wool felt with cotton support.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces Flight Jacket Patch Collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. PBEJX08. LEGEX09/08

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): This patch is in great condition with very little wear at all. 2 small areas of edge shrinkage at bottom do not detract.
