WWII USAAF 1944 Christmas Card from Foster Field in Victoria, Texas with Shark-Nosed P-40 on Cover!

Great WWII United States Army Air Forces 1944 Christmas Card from Foster Field in Victoria, Texas. The front of the card features a shark-nosed P-40 soaring above the clouds and below it reads: "CHRISTMAS GREETINGS ACROSS THE MILES". The inside left cover features a black and white image of many aircraft flying in formation and below it reads: "FOSTER FIELD VICTORIA, TEXAS". The right inside has a red Christmas tree in the center are reads: "BEST WISHES FOR CHRISTMAS AND THE NEW YEAR" below. At the top is a handwritten message: "May get home shortly after xmas in which case I'll be up to see you" and is signed "Terry Whittemore". The reverse shows the handwritten year "1944".
