ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Christmas card from United States Navy Air Station Moffett Field in California. The card is actually a post card in red, white and blue and shows a blimp at the ready. The reverse is blank, but the airman has written his name in pencil in a white stripe at the bottom of the card's front.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 4" in height and 4-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Printed paper.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: A.(?)H. DEITCHLER written on front in pencil.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VHXM07 LHEX5/11

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The card has been very well-preserved with no rips and only the smallest spots of slight discoloration on reverse.
