This is a World War II police badge for the United States Army's Fort Slocum in New York. The fort was used as a barracks by the Navy during World War II. The badge shows an eagle at top with a winged wheel at center and reads FORT SLOCUM POLICE 67.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:2-3/8" height and 1-5/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with painted letters.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking catch.
