WWII US Army Air Forces/US Navy/Marine Corps Norden Bombsight

This is a beautiful and intriguing piece of World War II equipment: A Norden bombsight used by the US Army Air Forces and Naval/Marine Air Forces. The bombsight is in great condition and comes in its original wooden storage crate. Please see images below of the closed crate as well as a close-up of the label attached to the bombsight, the sight's data book, the Nomenclature Plate with serial number and other manufacturing information, and its level (correct: the floor here is not level). This particular sight is marked with an anchor having been inspected for US Navy/Marine Corps use.

Storage crate dimensions are approximately 13" in height and 11" by 18". The bombsight itself is approximately 10" in height and 9 ½" by 16".

The bombsight has a warning label attached to it (see image below) as well as a data book with a maintenance record entered in it and a nomenclature plate with markings that pertain to type, serial number, etc.

8+ (Excellent) This bombsight is in an excellent condition. The storage crate shows minor signs of wear but is structurally sound, and has served its purpose of protecting the bombsight very well.
