Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a United States Army eight-wheel tank destroyer "no-fender, ribbed weave variant" shoulder patch. The patch is orange bordered in black and shows the "tank-eating tiger" crushing an eight-wheeled tank in its jaws.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto garment.
