This is a shoulder patch for the United States Army 18th Airborne Division, a unit which was a ghost division during World War II. The patch is crest-shaped and shows a battle-axe falling from the sky. It does not have the AIRBORNE tab that some other of the division's patches do.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:2-15/16" height and 2-3/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully-embroidered patch in silk/cotton threads.
