This is a shoulder patch for United States Army 16th Armored Division, nicknamed "Armadillo". The patch is a tri-colored triangle bordered in olive drab embroidery and shows a tank track, cannon, lightning bolt and the number 16.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3-7/16" in height and 3-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
