ARTIFACT:
This is a World War II squadron patch for the United States 314th Bomber Squadron, 21st Bomb Group, 3rd Air Force, which operated from February 1942 through October 1943. The patch was designed by Disney and shows a fox dressed as a mailman dropping bombs selected out of his postal bag.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 5-1/4" in diameter.
