ARTIFACT: WWII United States Navy 1944 dated whistle in olive drab green Bakelite plastic with beaded chain. Embossed lettering on one side of the whistle reads: "U.S.N. 1944" with a shield symbol and the letters "PEI" inside.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" in length x 7/8" in width & depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bakelite, steel, brass, and cork.

ATTACHMENT: Beaded chain.

MARKINGS: "U.S.N. 1944" and "PEI" maker mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJM15 LBHX4/15 SBHX12/20

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Whistle shows minor to moderate wear, overall excellent condition.
