ARTIFACT:
This is a World War II United Aircraft Company factory visitor badge. Established in 1929 as the United Aircraft and Transport Corporation, the company catered to both military and civilian aviation demands. The corporation included such entities as Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky and Chance-Vought. It is in aqua blue celluloid.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-7/16" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Celluloid, tin.
