Description
This is a World War II sterling silver United States Army Quartermaster Corps sweetheart victory pin by Symmetalic. "Symmetalic" is the registered trademark that the W.E. Richards Company first used in 1936, and is found on the company's high quality sterling silver and gold pieces. This pin is primarily sterling silver with a thin layer of 14 karat gold on the top (it's probably only slightly more gold than gold-filled, about 1/5 or less gold total weight). The bulk of the pin is a large V with the quartermaster insignia in the crook of the vee.
