This is a World War II Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) battle dress shoulder eagle for a Royal Air Force (RAF) volunteer. The eagle is embroidered on wool felt beneath the words NEW ZEALAND.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2" in height and 3-13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk thread, cloth backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The eagle has some light wear, mostly along the edge.
