ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Royal Australian Air Force specialist badge. The badge is by K. C. Luke of Melbourne and has a plate backing.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 9/16" in height and 2-5/16" in width; plate is by 5/8" by 2-5/16".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, steel, brass.

ATTACHMENT: Plate with two rectangular holes, two loops with bobby pins.

MARKINGS: K. C. LUKE MELBOURNE (partially worn away).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Great Britain and Commonwealth collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX04 LCEX4/12

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows some small areas of light to medium wear.
