This is a World War II leather name strip for an A-2 jacket belonging to pilot Lt. Robert S. Knight, who was killed in action. The strip reads ROBERT S. KNIGHT.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
5/8" height and 4" width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Leather with stamped and inked lettering.

The strip you receive will either be this one or another one belonging to Lt. Knight in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBX95 LHEX 5/10 SHEX12/16
